Since the early 1990s, we specialized in micro-electronics for windspeed, waterspeed utilizing technology patented by JDC electronics in Switzerland. Later, we introduced a new line of instruments, Skymate and Weathermate made by Nielson Kellerman and later marketed by them as Kestrel. In 2010, we sold our Skymate and Weathermate instruments to Weatherhawk in Utah. In the late 1990s, we entered an agreement with Honda Electronics in Japan to market their portable depthsounder. Further, we created the depthsounder with a proprietary 12-foot external transducer to allow a user more remote access, such as from a dingy. This unit is often used by scientists, bridge maintenance crews and various navies.
Though we have discontinued our popular hunting and fishing instruments and apps, we continue to market the depthsounders. We suggest you order from our retail partners such as Forestry Suppliers, Landfall Navigation, Global Test Supply, Trident Diving Equipment among others. Unfortunately, the accessory kit with the suction cup mount and the Velcro strap for attaching to a pole are no longer available. Note that a boater can create a pole mount by using heavy duty Velcro. Manuals for any Speedtech products are available here. Just click the Manuals tab.
